Values that count

""Here are the values I stand for: I stand for honesty, equality, kindness, compassion, treating people the way you'd want to be treated and helping those in need. To me, those are traditional values. That's what I stand for."  --Ellen DeGeneres, entertainer and comedian.

Thank you, religiousscholar.com for the journal entry of this quote by Ellen Degeneres. Ellen "talks the talk and walks the walk". The world would be a better place if more people did the same. I share these values and am a big fan of laughing and dancing as well. Spirituality resides at our core being and in our brain. One might never be "in touch" with it or spirituality can be both nurtured and manifest by our interactions with all God's creations when we recognize His blessings of ability, talent, purpose and beauty in ourselves, others and all creation. And we give thanks...Amen.
